The kind of sampling feature this design applies to. A realizedfeature that fulfils the design is expected to be of this type.Optional, like every other property here: an exception designresolves anything it does not restate up its basedOnRef chain. Usethe DIGGS dictionary samplingFeatureTypes.xml for the list ofvalues.

Annotations
Abstract base type for designs of sampling features. Carries the kind of samplingfeature planned, its scope, its progress, planned equipment and other plannedproperties.
Database handle for the object. It is of XML type ID, so is constrained to beunique in the XML document within which it occurs. An external identifier for the object inthe form of a URI may be constructed using standard XML and XPointer methods. This is doneby concatenating the URI for the document, a fragment separator, and the value of the idattribute.
