An object containing the name, value or range of values, and unit of measure of aproperty or measurement parameter, where the name is bound to a definition in aproperties dictionary and the data type of the value is declared. Use it inpreference to diggs:Parameter wherever the parameter reported has a dictionarydefinition: a consumer can then type the value and check it against the definitionwithout inferring anything from its lexical form. Use diggs:Parameter where the nameis genuinely uncontrolled. It is accepted anywhere diggs:ParameterPropertyType ordiggs:ParameterArrayPropertyType is used.
Database handle for the object. It is of XML type ID, so is constrained to beunique in the XML document within which it occurs. An external identifier for the object inthe form of a URI may be constructed using standard XML and XPointer methods. This is doneby concatenating the URI for the document, a fragment separator, and the value of the idattribute.
An integer that indicates the position of the parameter in the order ofthe parameters of a result.
