Annotations
A reference to an observation whose description informs this one, for example a
diggs:LithologyObservation that a diggs:StratigraphyObservation or
diggs:GeoUnitObservation was interpreted from. Records provenance between
descriptions, as distinct from diggs:sampleRef (what the observation was made on)
and diggs:measurementRef (which measurements support it). The target is an
individual observation, not an observation system. Given by reference only.
