A surface prepared within the treated area before ground improvement begins, designed to carry the load of the equipment used to construct the rigid inclusioncolumns and load transfer platform(s). It is prepared to be horizontal and, depending on site conditions, may be underlain by granular fill over the naturalground surface to provide sufficient bearing capacity. If only one working platformexists within the treated area, its wpExtent may be omitted and the extent is thatof diggs:RITreatedArea. Its wpElevation is mandatory and overrides any elevation inwpExtent when wpExtent is in a 3D CRS. It is a component object, not a samplingfeature: it extends diggs:AbstractObjectType and is reached only throughdiggs:RITreatedAreaType/workingPlatform, because it bounds the work rather thanbeing a thing the work is performed on; nothing is sampled from it and noobservation targets it. diggs:Geosynthetic is likewise a component of thediggs:LoadTransferPlatform that contains it.
Database handle for the object. It is of XML type ID, so is constrained to beunique in the XML document within which it occurs. An external identifier for the object inthe form of a URI may be constructed using standard XML and XPointer methods. This is doneby concatenating the URI for the document, a fragment separator, and the value of the idattribute.
