An aggregate impact value test procedure. The aggregate impact value represents theresistance of aggregates to impact. Aggregate passing the 12.5 mm sieve and retainedon the 10 mm sieve is placed in three layers in a steel cup on the base of theimpact testing machine, each layer tamped with 25 blows. A metal hammer of 13.5 to14 kg falls freely 380 mm onto the specimen for 15 blows, the crushed aggregate ispassed through the 2.36 mm sieve, and the impact value is the percentage of thesample mass that passes.
Database handle for the object. It is of XML type ID, so is constrained to beunique in the XML document within which it occurs. An external identifier for the object inthe form of a URI may be constructed using standard XML and XPointer methods. This is doneby concatenating the URI for the document, a fragment separator, and the value of the idattribute.
