Annotations
A Project is a business activity that encompasses a collection of
sampling features, activities, samples, observations and measurements. A project may
occur at a physical location, in which case it can optionally contain geometries. A
project is typically associated with an investigation or construction activity for
which there a specific outcome anticipated - eg. a research publication, design, or
an actual geotechnical construction (eg. deep foundation, earthwork,
etc.)

Database handle for the object. It is of XML type ID, so is constrained to be
unique in the XML document within which it occurs. An external identifier for the object in
the form of a URI may be constructed using standard XML and XPointer methods. This is done
by concatenating the URI for the document, a fragment separator, and the value of the id
attribute.
