Schema documentation for component diggs:Well

A sampling feature that is an installation within a borehole or sounding, used for observing, withdrawing, or injecting fluids. Although wells are discrete sampling features in their own right, they are installed within boreholes or soundings, and must reference the parent borehole or sounding feature within the mandatory samplingFeatureRef property.

An external identifier for the object in the form of a URI may be constructed using standard XML and XPointer methods. This is done by concatenating the URI for the document, a fragment separator, and the value of the id attribute.
