A Project is a business activity that encompasses a collection ofsampling features, activities, samples, observations and measurements. A project mayoccur at a physical location, in which case it can optionally contain geometries. Aproject is typically associated with an investigation or construction activity forwhich there a specific outcome anticipated - eg. a research publication, design, oran actual geotechnical construction (eg. deep foundation, earthwork,etc.)
Database handle for the object. It is of XML type ID, so is constrained to beunique in the XML document within which it occurs. An external identifier for the object inthe form of a URI may be constructed using standard XML and XPointer methods. This is doneby concatenating the URI for the document, a fragment separator, and the value of the idattribute.
