Annotations
Depth and/or time related information recorded during construction of the
borehole. These events are intended to record information that is non-geological.
Typically this includes drillers comments usually found on the boring or drilling
log, for reporting incidents during drilling (such as "Fishing for broken U100"),
drilling records that don't readily fit in any other groups (such as "Pushing
boulder ahead of casing"), observations that are not strictly geological (such as
"Strong petrol smell").

Attributes
QName Type Use Annotation
gml:id ID required
Database handle for the object. It is of XML type ID, so is constrained to be
unique in the XML document within which it occurs. An external identifier for the object in
the form of a URI may be constructed using standard XML and XPointer methods. This is done
by concatenating the URI for the document, a fragment separator, and the value of the id
attribute.
